In 2023, Dorman was commissioned to join explorers Rosie Stancer & Pom Oliver in a three week expedition to walk across the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. Easel on her back and brush in hand, Dorman walked with the Bedouin from the Mzeina, Jebeleya & Aliquat tribes, across the sands and mountains of the Sinai from the North West to the South-East coast. This desert expedition continued in 2025 in an expedition across Saudi Arabia walking 2,000km along the Incense Route.
